This is poultry raised to a standard you rarely see anymore. A special, slow-growing breed is allowed to mature for 70-80 days – twice the lifespan of a commercial chicken – with the freedom to roam and forage in open fields. They are fed a wholesome diet of grains and natural oats, with the unique addition of apples.
